The Lounge Vet is an independent, compassionate mobile veterinary practice based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. We provide a premium level of care for you and your pets, making the experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
We offer preventative care, consultations, diagnostic tests and treatment in the mobile clinic - saving you precious time, inconvenience and stress. We can provide repeat prescriptions, nutritional and behavioural advice, microchipping and completion of pet travel documents. Our clients will have unlimited access to a 24/7 digital veterinary support service - an invaluable benefit to joining our practice. We are able to refer to local bricks-and-mortar practices or specialists if a detailed investigation or surgery is indicated. Importantly, and close to our hearts, we also provide palliative care for older patients, and humane, compassionate euthanasia when the time is right to say farewell.

The Lounge Vet was established by Katie Hansard with the desire to provide pet-owners in the Berkhamsted area with convenient and compassionate care for their pets, delivered straight to their door. Our bespoke converted van is used as a mobile consulting and treatment room. We are completely independent and believe in providing tailored healthcare care to each individual patient, always considering their emotional welfare and owner’s needs as fundamental to this service. Our goal is to make veterinary care a pleasant and comforting experience for pets and their carers alike, by treating our patients as if they were our own.
